Robots and Avatars – Collaborative and Intergenerational Futures (RACIF) is an extension of the UK research into a project which begins in June 2011 and will continue for two years – moving into Europe. RACIF is supported by the EU Culture Programme (2007-13) and will be realised in co-operation with co-organisers AltArt and KIBLA and key UK partners FACT (Foundation for Arts and Creative Technology, Liverpool) and National Theatre, London.
Robots and Avatars is a programme of work which began in 2009. It was originally conceived and produced by body>data>space with partners NESTA, King’s College Visualisation Lab (King’s College London), Hi8us, ResCen (Middlesex University), Soda, Kinura, Kinetica Art Fair, RAN (Digital Art Network), and Ambient Performance. Robots and Avatars Forums are co-conceived and co-produced by body>data>space and NESTA .
