Robots and Avatars – our colleagues and playmates of the future.

Led  by body>data>space with KIBLA and AltArt this innovative project explores how young people will work and play with new representational forms of themselves and others in virtual and physical life in the next 10-15 years.

It examines multi-identity evolutions of today’s younger generations within the context of a world in which virtual and physical spaces are increasingly blended.

Robots and Avatars was initially conceived and produced by body>data>space, with key partner NESTA. A participatory web and events led programme with connected educational activities took place in 2010. The project now continues in the UK and Europe as part of the EU Culture Programme (2007-13). We are open to collaborations and inputs.
